Iridium, Simon (bass, vox) & Phil (guitar) started out as school friends and skate friends, along with phil's cousin shaun we shown quite a similar interest in music aswell as skateboarding.....at the time only Phil knew how to play a guitar, and Simon did'nt have a clue how to sing or play... So Phil started to teach Simon basic guitar, shaun also began to learn as he was asking for a guitar for his birthday. After a while into Simon learning little guitar riffs and rythms and parts of songs Simon's dad brought him a guitar off of a friend at work So phil carried on to teach Simon tunes here and there. Reece (drums), met Simon when Simon moved into his house in Melksham and became great friends, soon after Reece broke the news of having to move, so Simon didnt see Reece for months.

A guy called Chris Dadson brung us all together as an idea for a band. Chris mentioned Reece Williams as a drummer and Simon thought the idea was great!
Soon after Simon had gone on holiday to Jersy and bought a bass guitar(spending money), from simple guitar techniques Simon learned bass very easily so we gathered for a practice.
Chris wanted to sing and play lead guitar and wanted phil to be rythm so we gave it a shot. Soon he left and got a job, Simon, Reece and Phil stayed a band with no name...and no singer, so Simon gave singing a go, and slowly became better after a lot of practice.
Our band hated our first name "prescence of mind" the idea of Iridium was suggested by Phil, all of us liked it and kept it. we enjoy making the music, so we hope you enjoy listening
