About Broke

BROKE!-a Detroit style of rock! The band Broke incorporates four souls out for the same thing; to make music. What's unique about the band Broke is the strange diversity of the members, especially in age. The singer Maieko Schleicher, is a 20 year old college student who likes blues. The guitar player Kevin Smith ia a 33 year old Black Label Society fanatic. Drummer Doug Rowe a 35 year old "big guy with a big heart", who loves almost anything with loud guitar and drums, and 40 year old Bass player Randy Werner is the guy who keeps them all together. The band was born in 2001; they play mostley rock but sometimes cater to each others taste. Blessed with Maieko's voice in May of 2005, this haphazard band keeps on fixing and reaching for higher goals.
