collapsing new people - an electronic/wave/punk-project founded in the year 2000 by neurose, pia unfug and loona cox in vienna (austria) at a concert of einstürzende neubauten. retreat in a cellar for the purpose of musical self-realization. after a lot of discussions and experiments the first recordings developed, somewhere between melancholy, aggression, lethargy and mania. music as therapy, but also as a form of protest. principles: unlimited freedom for experiments, all ways and forms of expression are allowed, refusal of musical standstill, the structure of the band isn't fixed - instruments and vocals can be changed at will. the recordings are collected on our 12-track-cd "concrete view".
in 2003 "revolution girl" (probably the last song with loona cox) is released on "new dark age vol.1" / strobelight records. another new track ("regressive attack") is released in september 2004 on the enclosed cd of the german mag "refraktor" and in october on "goth is what you make it 4" / batbeliever releases.
with our new member lola blixx we are working on our second cd "collapsing new world", that is released in july 2005.
