The Maids of Cadiz have been playing together for almost 3 years now. They are a 4 man group from Virginia that orchestrates with: Drums, Bass, 2 guitars , Vocals, and some occasional keyboard action. The Maids play a stylistic blend of many genres that's rooted in an alternative rock sound. They do not subscribe to any specific genre or fit into any "scene". The Maids goal is to create innovative, unique music by mixing genres, building on creative work of past and present musicians, and continuously applying new ways of organizing and constructing ideas through sound. The Maids do not wish to be inhibited by any pre-existing notions or cliches on how to write music.
